Overview

Chat Webhook is a flexible provider for connecting Novu to a chat service or internal messaging system that does not have a built-in integration.

How it works

When a chat step runs, Novu sends the message content and delivery context to the webhook URL stored for the subscriber. Your endpoint can then transform or forward the request to the destination you use.

Configure

Add the Chat Webhook provider in Novu, then store the destination webhook URL in the subscriber's channel credentials.

Connect your communication stack to Novu

Use Novu Notify for multi-channel notifications and Novu Connect for contextual agent conversations, actions, and approvals.
