Grafana

Grafana is a Tool provider for sending workflow alerts to Grafana IRM or Grafana OnCall. Each subscriber can connect a different incoming webhook URL, allowing one workflow to route alerts to the correct Grafana stack without storing a shared webhook on the integration.

When a workflow reaches a Grafana Tool step, Novu resolves the Grafana channel endpoint registered for the subscriber and sends the rendered alert to that incoming webhook. If the subscriber has no matching endpoint, Novu skips the Tool step for that subscriber.

Create the Grafana integration under Tool in the Novu Integration Store. Register each subscriber's Grafana incoming webhook URL as a channel endpoint, add a Tool step to a workflow, select Grafana, and send a test alert.
