What Novu is

Novu is the communication layer between any brain and the world. We're open-source infrastructure (38k+ GitHub stars) that powers notifications and now agent-to-customer conversations across email, Slack, WhatsApp, Teams, iMessage and more. What you'll actually do

• Turn strategy into execution. Take the marketing strategy and operational plans and make them real. You own the work end-to-end, from Linear ticket to shipped, and nothing falls through the cracks.
• Own the machine. Drive every project across paid, content, lifecycle, community and launches. Keep it all moving, on time, no dropped balls.
• Pick the right tool for the job. Look across our projects, diagnose what each one needs, and solve it with the right platform, automation or AI workflow. You go manual → documented → automated.
• Surface the next move. As execution runs, insights come back. You read them, connect the dots, and flag the second and third-order opportunities: "this opens the door to that."
• Be AI-native. You use AI tools heavily to do the work of three people. This is non-negotiable. We expect leverage, not headcount.

Who you are

• You're eager to learn, endlessly. You don't wait to be taught; you figure it out.
• You're not afraid of hard work. This is a build, not a cruise. You show up and put in the hours because you want to.
• You manage your own time. We work remotely. Nobody is going to chase you. You own your calendar, your priorities and your output.
• You're hungry. Genuinely, almost annoyingly hungry to build and prove yourself.
• You ship. You'd rather have something live and imperfect than perfect and in a doc.
• You think in systems and you understand the why, so you're not just executing, you're improving.
• You're fluent (or fast-learning) across modern ops and growth tooling: Linear, Slack, Notion, Mixpanel, Clay, lifecycle/email platforms, and whatever AI tools get the job done.
• Bonus if you've marketed dev-tool products before. You get developers, open source, and how this audience actually buys. Not required, but a real advantage.
• Years on paper don't matter. Could be your second year, could be your fifth. What matters is velocity and ownership.

Who you're NOT

• A pure strategist who doesn't touch the work.
• Someone who needs a fully-scoped ticket and a hand to hold.
• Someone who confuses being busy with shipping.
