Overview
iMessage is Apple's messaging experience across the Messages app. Novu Connect uses Sendblue to give your existing agent an iMessage presence without requiring you to build and maintain the channel integration yourself.
How it works
Novu Connect receives iMessage conversations through Sendblue, preserves the conversation history, and routes new messages to your agent. Agent responses return to the same conversation with support for live typing indicators, reply-based actions, MCP approvals, and plain-text connection links.
Configure
From your agent project, run:
npx novu connect --channel sendblue
Enter your Sendblue credentials in the CLI, then reply to the test iMessage to verify the connection.
