Overview
Slack is a team communication platform for conversations, coordination, and collaborative work. Novu Connect gives your existing agent a presence in Slack without requiring you to build and maintain Slack-specific conversation infrastructure.
How it works
Novu Connect receives Slack messages and threaded replies, normalizes the conversation context, and routes them to your agent. It then sends the agent's response back to the correct conversation with support for Block Kit messages, actions, approvals, typing states, read states, and messages that update in place.
Configure
From your agent project, run:
npx novu connect --channel slack
Complete the Slack authorization flow, then follow the CLI prompt to connect your existing agent runtime.
