Overview

WhatsApp Business helps businesses communicate with customers through WhatsApp. Novu Connect gives your existing agent a WhatsApp presence while handling the channel-specific messaging and conversation infrastructure around it.

How it works

Novu Connect receives customer messages from WhatsApp Business, preserves the conversation context, and routes them to your agent. It sends responses back through WhatsApp with support for quick replies, typing indicators, read receipts, ordered processing, and secure links for tool or MCP approvals.

Configure

From your agent project, run:

npx novu connect --channel whatsapp

Complete Meta Embedded Signup in the browser, then send the test WhatsApp message requested by the CLI to verify the connection.
